There is a night club and swimming pool next to us that plays late, but that music was etter than the squeak of something else that keeps us awake but not too bad. 2nd night is much better.
June 17th Day 13: Genova
Quick tour of the crazy streets of Porto Antico and it’s red light district with erin in am. Basilica San Lorenzo and Maddelena Street. We go back later to try and find the elevators to the castel Albertico or something like that but take a very wrong turn and end up walking to the museo which happens to be closed on Mondays. We walk back. Good exercise. Erin and I stop at an international festival/market (we think fair trade) and erin finally gets her puffy pants whe has been searching for since france.
We find the internet cafe where IWS (Internet withdrawal syndrome aka I hate my parents syndrome) is briefly relieved. Bathrooms are still a problem, but not really.
